Stefan Adams

Assoc. Prof. Stefan Adams holds a prominent role in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he has served as an Associate Professor since 2011. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at NUS (2005–2010) and held academic positions at Göttingen University, Germany, including Senior Lecturer (2000–2005) and Lecturer (1994–2000). He also maintains adjunct roles at the Solar Research Institute of Singapore and A*Star Institute of Materials Research and Engineering. His professional journey is complemented by a robust educational background, including a PhD in Physics/Crystallography from Saarland State University (1991) and postdoctoral research at the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid State Research (1992–1994).
