Stavros Nikou is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Education at the Strathclyde Institute of Education, University of Strathclyde. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems (Learning Technologies), M.Sc. in Computer Science, and B.Sc. in Physics. His research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, mobile/ubiquitous learning, immersive environments (AR/VR), and AI applications in education. He leads the Postgraduate Certificate in Technology Enhanced Teaching and Learning and supervises postgraduate students. Nikou is Chair of the IEEE TCLT SIG on ARVWET and serves on editorial boards of journals like IEEE Transactions on Education and iJIM. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and innovation.
