معرفی
Stanley Moore is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan, with research interests spanning Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, and Structural Biology. Prior to joining Saskatchewan in 2002, he held a Lecturer position at Massey University (1994-1998). His academic journey includes a PhD in Structural Biology (University of Alberta, 1994) and a B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry (Dalhousie University, 1986).
Moore’s research focuses on two primary areas:
- Flagellum secretion systems in Helicobacter pylori, a gastric pathogen, and
- Chromatin modifying systems in higher eukaryotes, particularly their structural and functional dynamics.
Key collaborative projects include clinical studies on urological trauma outcomes (2023) and sepsis survivor follow-up (2019), though these appear to involve co-authorship rather than primary authorship. Notably, Moore’s personal interests include black licorice cigars—a recreational choice he humorously clarifies is not an endorsement of smoking.
