Staniša Latinović

Staniša Latinović is an Assistant Professor at the University of Banja Luka's Faculty of Technology, Department of Food Technology and Industrial Biotechnology. He specializes in food technology, bioactive compounds, and functional ingredients. His research focuses on antioxidant properties of plant-based materials, food preservation techniques, and innovative food product development. He collaborates on national and international projects aimed at enhancing food product stability and sustainability.

Key research interests include the chemical characterization of plant extracts (chicory, celery, pomegranate), optimization of drying methods for aromatic plants, and valorization of agricultural byproducts. Recent work explores the development of functional ingredients through traditional and modern food processing techniques.
