Prof. dr hab. Stanisław Berger is Honorary Doctor of Warsaw University of Life Sciences and pioneering researcher in human nutrition science. He founded the Department of Food Technology and Human Nutrition (1958) and established the Institute of Human Nutrition (1974). His research focuses on vitamin A physiology, protein metabolism, and nutrition policy.
