Stan Korotchenko is Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. He holds a PhD in Public Affairs-Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida (2021), an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Florida State University (2015), and law degrees from Russian Presidential Academy. His research examines police information systems, court corruption, and quantitative methods in criminal justice.
Korotchenko teaches Criminal Justice Statistics, Research Methods, and Comparative Justice Systems. His current research projects analyze spatial patterns of crime, police data sharing effectiveness, and survey methodologies for sensitive behaviors. He has secured grants from Florida Department of Corrections and Packback, Inc.
Recent publications investigate spatial relationships between crime demographics, police information sharing impacts, and methodological challenges in criminological research. His work demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between law, public policy, and data science.
