Stamoulis Georgios

George D. Stamoulis is a Professor at the Department of Informatics, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where he also serves as Dean of the School of Information Sciences and Technology. He leads the Services, Technologies and Economics (STEcon) research group and directs the Theory, Economics, and Systems laboratory.

Education

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (1987, with highest honours), National Technical University of Athens
• MS (1988) and PhD (1991) in Electrical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Research Interests
His work spans economic mechanisms for network and cloud resource management, service charging models, peer-to-peer systems, reputation formation in digital environments, and auction-based allocation strategies for spectrum, adwords, and sensor data. He also explores intersections between telecommunications and energy systems regulation.
