Georgios D. Stamoulis

Georgios D. Stamoulis is a Professor at the Department of Informatics, Athens University of Economics and Business, where he serves as Dean of the School of Information Sciences and Technology. He leads the research group "Services, Technologies and Economics - STEcon" and directs the Laboratory of Economic Informatics and Systems Theory.

His research focuses on economic issues in communication networks and cloud computing, including resource allocation, auction mechanisms for spectrum sales, demand response in power systems, and reputation systems in peer-to-peer environments. He has collaborated with Greek telecommunications companies, regulatory authorities like EETT and RAE, and participated in European research projects.

He has published extensively in top-tier journals (IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networks, Journal of the ACM, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory) and conferences (INFOCOM, SIGMETRICS, SmartGridComm, CloudNet). His work emphasizes market design, regulation, and optimization of networked systems.
