Stacy Williams

Stacy Williams is a Clinical Professor and Chair of the Teacher Education Department at Loyola University Maryland. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in clinically-based teacher preparation, mentoring, and STEM education advocacy. She holds an MAT from Johns Hopkins, a B.S. in Biology from James Madison University, and an MBA from Loyola. Her leadership includes revising Loyola’s Special Education Program and co-editing Leveraging PDS Partnerships to Cultivate Equity in Education with Dr. Afra Hersi.

Key contributions include developing teacher residency programs with Baltimore County Public Schools and leading the Maryland Professional Development Schools Network. She has secured grants totaling over $1.2M from NSF and other organizations. Awards include the ATE/NAPDS Clinical Practice Fellowship and Learning Forward Foundation recognition.

Her professional engagement spans workshops on co-teaching, STEM integration, and professional learning design. She actively collaborates with school districts and national organizations to bridge research and practice, emphasizing equity in education.
