Stacy Tomas is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Oklahoma State University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. She holds a Ph.D., MS, and BS from Texas A&M University in Recreation Sciences and Wildlife Management.
Dr. Tomas focuses on research areas including agritourism strategies, sustainable tourism practices, and the economic impacts of food and beverage tourism. Her work emphasizes practical applications for rural communities, supported by projects funded by USDA grants and state agricultural departments.
Her recent publications explore topics like winter holiday destination rankings (WalletHub), gender dynamics in hospitality leadership (International Journal of Hospitality Management), and social media strategies for agritourism.
