Stacy Poplos Connor is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Delaware and serves as a Master Teacher at The College School on the Children’s Campus of the College of Education and Human Development. She has held these roles since 2005. Prior to this, she taught special education and regular education at George Read Middle School in the Colonial School District (2001–2004). Her professional activities include leading People to People educational delegations to Europe and the South Pacific with middle school students and co-developing SMART Board training programs for educators.
She holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College (2003) and a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware (2001). She is certified in both elementary and special education, and maintains memberships in the National Education Association and the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
Her expertise spans inclusive education practices, curriculum design for diverse learners, and teacher preparation. She has contributed to professional development initiatives focused on integrating technology (e.g., SMART Boards) into K–12 classrooms and has mentored pre-service teachers through her role at The College School, a university laboratory school.
