Stacie Furst-Holloway is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati and director of the MA Psychology program. Her expertise lies in organizational science, focusing on healthy work environments, virtual/flexible work practices, organizational development, and leader-follower dynamics. She holds a Ph.D. in Management (Organizational Behavior) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA from Villanova University, and a BA in Journalism from Indiana University.
Dr. Furst-Holloway’s research explores workplace well-being, employee retention, and leadership effectiveness. She has been funded by the National Science Foundation, NIH, and SHRM, with publications in top journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and Leadership Quarterly. Her applied work includes consulting on organizational change, HR analytics, and leadership development for public and private-sector organizations.
Her grants include leading roles in projects such as the Northern Kentucky University JCOIN Coordination and Translation Center and collaborating on the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program. She has also received teaching awards, including the 2015 A.B. 'Dolly' Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Dr. Furst-Holloway has advised numerous grants and serves on academic committees, emphasizing departmental and professional service. Her work bridges academic research with practical organizational solutions.
