Colleen McLaughlin is a Professor of Business at Liberty University's School of Business. With over 15 years of business management experience, she has owned and operated multiple businesses and held leadership roles in Christian academies, including Interim Administrator and Director of Education. She currently serves as SHRM District Director for the Southern District of Virginia and previously led the Central Virginia SHRM chapter. Her research focuses on human capital retention in Christian education and organizational behavior.
Education: Doctoral Thesis (2005) titled Toward a Theory of Faithfulness, exploring motivational factors in human capital retention within Christian schools.
Professional Contributions: Provides HR consulting to for-profit and non-profit organizations, contributes to Lynchburg Business Magazine, and advocates for leadership development in faith-based institutions.
