Stacia Lee

Stacia Lee, PT, DPT, NCS, serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she directs the Physical Therapy Residency Programs. With nearly 30 years of clinical experience specializing in neurologic patient care, she contributes to both academic education and clinical practice within UW Medicine.

Her educational background includes:

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University - Sargent College (1988)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica

Lee maintains board certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Her clinical and research focus centers exclusively on neurologic rehabilitation, with particular emphasis on evidence-based treatment protocols for stroke recovery and movement disorders. She integrates her extensive clinical experience into residency training to develop specialized practitioners.

As Residency Program Director, Lee oversees curriculum development and mentorship for physical therapy residents, leveraging 20 years of supervisory experience from large academic medical centers. Her leadership focuses on bridging clinical practice with academic training in neurologic rehabilitation settings.
