Stacey Noem is a Professor of the Practice Education at the University of Notre Dame's Department of Theology within the College of Arts and Letters. She serves as Director of Human and Spiritual Formation for lay students in the Master of Divinity program. Her work focuses on formation for Catholic lay ecclesial ministers, community development with emphasis on communication and conflict resolution, and marriage/family life ministry.
Education: M.Div. from University of Notre Dame (2005). Professional affiliations include the Association of Graduate Programs in Ministry and past roles with the Catholic Campus Ministry Association. She previously served as Assistant Director of Faith Formation at the University of Portland. Her professional service includes redeveloping Jesuit Volunteer Corps' domestic orientation programs and extensive work with JVC:NW, PACE, and ECHO on community formation initiatives.
Publications emphasize integrating lay and clerical ministerial formation, sacramental participation for families, and theological approaches to evangelization and marriage. Active in church life through leadership roles and contributions to Catholic educational resources.
