Stacey Freedenthal is an Associate Professor at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW). She specializes in suicide prevention, clinical social work, mental health, and social justice. She coordinates the mental health concentration at GSSW and teaches courses such as Suicide Assessment and Interventions, Clinical Social Work Theory, and Social Justice in Mental Health. She holds a PhD in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, an MSW from the University of Texas, and a BA in Journalism.
