Sridhar Anandakrishnan is a Professor at The Pennsylvania State University, affiliated with the Department of Geosciences. He is a key member of the interdisciplinary PSICE (Penn State Ice and Climate Exploration) group, dedicated to studying the cryosphere, particularly glaciers and ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica.
His research focuses on ice flow dynamics to improve projections of sea-level rise under climate change scenarios. The PSICE group combines fieldwork, modeling, and lab research to advance understanding of the cryosphere's role in the global hydrologic cycle.
