As Program Director of Stanford's M.F.A. in Documentary Film, Keca mentors emerging filmmakers while maintaining active creative practice. His Sundance Institute grant supports ongoing documentary projects exploring post-war identity. Current work focuses on cinematic representations of societal collapse through observational techniques that avoid 'suffering pornography,' emphasizing materiality of late capitalist environments and temporal fluidity in post-socialist contexts.
Keca maintains studio practice through his external profile (skeca.com), with works exhibited at Venice Biennale of Architecture and Whitechapel Gallery. His teaching integrates filmmaking with critical theory, emphasizing ethical representation of marginalized subjects through immersive research methodologies.
