Spencer Johnston

Spencer Johnston is a Professor and Department Head of Small Animal Medicine & Surgery at the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. He holds the Waggoner Professorship of Small Animal Studies. His career includes faculty roles at Virginia Tech (1990–2003) and private surgical practice before returning to academia at UGA in 2007. He served as Small Animal Surgery Chief of Staff (2008–2011) and currently leads the department.
