Dr. Soyeon Jin serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich's Chair of Digital Governance under Professor Yannis Theocharis. Her interdisciplinary work bridges sociology, media communication, and political science within the university's research ecosystem.

Her research focuses on critical digital society issues, particularly examining how technology influences immigrant integration and shapes information environments. Key interests include immigration attitudes, misinformation dynamics, social media effects, and online incivility. Her methodological approach combines quantitative analysis with cross-national comparative frameworks.
