Sourabh Dhingra

Sourabh Dhingra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Clemson University, where he leads the Dhingra Laboratory focused on fungal molecular pathogenesis. His research investigates molecular mechanisms of azole drug response in Aspergillus fumigatus using genetics, genomics, and cellular biology approaches combined with mammalian model systems.

His primary fields of interest include fungal pathogenesis mechanisms, drug resistance evolution, and host-pathogen interactions. The lab employs cutting-edge genomic techniques to identify key virulence factors and their regulatory networks.

Dr. Dhingra directs the Eukaryotic Pathogen Innovation Center laboratory facilities at Clemson, where he mentors graduate students and coordinates collaborative research projects on pathogenic fungi.
