Sotiroula Christou

Sotiroula Christou serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of General Medicine at the School of Medicine, European University Cyprus, with primary clinical affiliation at the Thalassemia Center of Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia, Cyprus. Her dual academic-hospital role bridges medical education and specialized patient care in hematology.

Her research concentrates on inherited blood disorders, particularly thalassemia pathophysiology and clinical management. Key focus areas include:
