Sorelle Friedler is the Shibulal Family Professor of Computer Science at Haverford College and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution. Her work centers on algorithmic fairness, transparency, and policy, including co-authoring the White House AI Bill of Rights.

Research interests include fairness in machine learning, accountability frameworks, and responsible AI, with applications to social networks, materials science, and civic systems. Her recent publications focus on network equity, generative AI bias, and policy-compliant algorithms.
