Soraya Zarook

Soraya Zarook is an Assistant Professor at the College of Arts & Letters at Old Dominion University, specializing in the Department of English. Her research and publications focus on postcolonial studies, Asian American studies, and critical trauma studies, with particular attention to Sri Lankan Anglophone literatures and South Asian Anglophone/North American literatures.

Her work explores intersections of trauma, disability, and women's rights in post-war contexts, including the Women's Rights After War Project. She can be contacted at gzarook@odu.edu.
