Sophie Pondeville

Sophie Pondeville is a Lecturer at the University of Namur, where she serves as Scientific Director of the Teaching Unit of the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Management since 2003. She is also Academic Director of the agrégation in economics and management since 2012 and of CeDES (Centre for Economic and Social Didactics) since 2013. Her work focuses on secondary school-university transition, program approaches, initial and continuing training of secondary school teachers, and education for sustainable development including social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.

Recent publications explore narrative practices in entrepreneurial identity, collaborative teacher training programs, and pandemic impacts on university readiness. She actively contributes to educational reform through projects like "Aide à la Réussite" and "PROGRESS" and participates in research seminars through IRDENa and CeDES.

As member of the management committee at IRDENa (2018-2021), she's shaped educational research frameworks. Her external roles include presidency of CEDS economic and social sciences at IFEC since 2013 and scientific collaboration at LouRIM-UCLouvain since 2021. Key activities involve program development, workshop facilitation, and educational policy formulation.
