Sophie Holland

Sophie Holland is a Research Fellow in Microbiology at Monash University. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), awarded in 2020, focusing on the one-carbon metabolism of novel dichloromethane-fermenting bacteria. Her research expertise spans microbial ecology, biogeochemistry, Antarctic ecosystems, and climate change impacts.
