Sophia P. Dimelis

Sophia P. Dimelis is a Professor at the Department of Informatics of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She holds multiple advanced degrees: BA in Economics (1976) and Political Science (1979), MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh (1987). She has taught at institutions in Greece and the U.S., including visiting professorships at the University of Indianapolis (2008) and University of Sydney (2010). Her research focuses on econometric analysis applied to business cycles, international trade, energy economics, and FDI effects, with a recent emphasis on ICT and firm productivity.
