Soo Yeong Ewe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing at Monash University Malaysia. She holds a PhD from Monash University Malaysia (2017), Master of Economics (2002) from Universiti Malaya, and a Bachelor of Management (First Class Honours) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (1997). Her research focuses on consumer psychology, sustainable consumption, financial decision making, and technology adoption, employing experimental methodologies.
She teaches courses including Marketing Theory and Practice, Marketing Research Methods, and Retail Marketing. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education and sustainability. Key collaborations include projects on financial sustainability and sustainable business practices.
Her recent articles explore topics such as mindfulness in digital marketing, Thai older saleswomen’s digital empowerment, and network brokerage in mutual fund markets. These studies highlight trends in sustainable consumption, technology-driven consumer behavior, and crisis resilience in emerging markets.
