Sonya Kowalski

Sonya Kowalski is an Associate Professor at the McAuley School of Nursing, University of Detroit Mercy. She transitioned to full-time teaching in 2013 after 27 years as an ICU nurse, driven by her passion for mentoring students. Her expertise spans Adult Gerontology, Patient Safety, Fall Risk Reduction, Nursing Education, and Pharmacology.
