Sonja Stockburger, M.Sc., is a researcher at the Chair of Business Tax Theory within the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at the University of Bamberg. Her roles include organizational tasks, maintaining the chair library, and supporting VC (Virtual Classroom) courses.
Research Interests
Her research focuses on the Taxation of real estate, International tax law, and Tax justice, with a strong emphasis on German tax regulations, cross-border implications, and equity in taxation. Her recent publications address topics such as the application of the German Real Estate Transfer Tax Act (GrEStG), flat-rate withholding tax compliance, and intergenerational capital transfer taxation.
