Dr. Sonja Settele is an Associate Professor of Labour Economics and Human Resource Management at the University of Cologne since December 2023. She is also affiliated with the DFG Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute (Cologne/Bonn), Max Planck Institute for Collective Goods, and Center for Economic Behaviour and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen.
Her research focuses on subjective belief formation and its impact on decision-making, particularly in contexts involving economic inequality and health outcomes. Key areas include behavioral economics, health economics, and labor economics.
