Sonja Radoš is a Scientific Associate at the Institute for Gerontology (IfG) at the University of Vechta. Her research focuses on the influence of perceived expectations of active aging on individual aging processes, sociodemographic and psychological predictors of these expectations, and their transition to personal expectations. She holds a Diplom in Psychology (2017) and a Master's in Psychology (2018) from universities in Belgrade, Serbia. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Research Executive at Ipsos Strategic Marketing (2019) and as a research associate in a German Research Foundation (DFG) project on active aging expectations (2020).
Her work involves data analysis of the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) and the Jena Study on Social Change and Human Development, using tools like SPSS and Mplus. She contributes to reporting results in international journals.
Publications include a 2019 study in Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, examining classroom dynamics and preferences among Roma children. Her research bridges gerontology, psychology, and sociocultural factors influencing aging.
