Prof. Sonia Lippke is an Adjunct Professor of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine at the School of Business, Social & Decision Sciences, Constructor University Bremen gGmbH. Her work focuses on lifespan health behaviors, workplace health promotion, and multi-behavior change mechanisms. She pioneered the Compensatory Carry-Over Action Model (CCAM), explaining how positive behavior changes in one domain facilitate others. Key projects include EU-funded Health CASCADE (H2020 MSCA ITN), Hong Kong lifestyle interventions for older adults, and post-COVID management programs.
Research interests span health psychology applications in work contexts, acculturation effects, and digital health interventions. She collaborates internationally across psychology, medicine, and public health. Notable contributions include co-developing the Health Action Process Approach (HAPA), applied in over 1,000 studies globally. Her funded projects address pandemic impacts, occupational safety, and health equity.
