Sonia Bychkov Green

Sonia Bychkov Green is an Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean of Part-Time Programs at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Law School. Her research focuses on conflicts of law, including vaccine exemptions in schools/workplaces, constitutional mandates/objections, and legal issues related to assisted reproductive technology and same-sex marriage.

Green teaches Civil Procedure I and II, Torts, and a seminar on reproductive technologies and the law. As a first-generation Russian-American academic, she brings international perspectives to her scholarship and has spoken extensively on Ukraine's legal/humanitarian crises. Recent teaching awards highlight her commitment to student mentorship and work-life balance.
