Laura T. Kessler is the S.J. Quinney Chair and Professor of Law at the University of Utah’s College of Law. She specializes in civil procedure, employment discrimination, family law, gender law, and reproductive rights. Her research integrates legal analysis with social science methods, addressing topics like LGBTQ+ family rights, sex discrimination in marriage/divorce law, polygamy, workplace pregnancy discrimination, and military sexual misconduct.
