معرفی
Songjun Hou is a Leverhulme Research Fellow at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Lancaster University. His research focuses on quantum transport phenomena in molecular-scale systems, particularly leveraging quantum interference effects for energy-efficient nanodevices.
- Key Projects: Lead researcher in the ECF-funded project 'Towards Energy-efficient Nanodevices based on Quantum Interference (ENano)' (2024–2026).
- Research Groups: Affiliated with 'Molecular Scale Electronics' and 'Theory of Molecular-Scale Transport' groups.
Research Interests:
Songjun Hou's work spans single-molecule electronics, quantum interference effects, thermoelectric properties, and surface engineering of nanomaterials. His studies investigate how molecular architecture and atomic-scale control influence charge transport in nanoscale devices, with recent focus on topological states in conjugated macrocycles and quantum interference in 2D transition metal dichalcogenides.
Scientific Awards:
- Leverhulme Research Fellowship
