Dr. Song-Young Park is an Associate Professor in the School of Health and Kinesiology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), where he has been since 2017. His research focuses on vascular physiology, oxidative stress, and the impact of aging and disease on cardiovascular systems. He holds editorial roles in journals such as Frontiers in Physiology and Journal of Applied Physiology. Dr. Park earned his Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology from the University of Utah and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cardiology at Boston University.

Research Interests: Endothelial mitochondrial function, reactive oxygen species, peripheral artery disease, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and cardiovascular fitness in special populations (e.g., wheelchair athletes).
