Soline LAPLANCHE-SERVIGNE

Soline LAPLANCHE-SERVIGNE is a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Côte d'Azur and member of the ERMES research laboratory. She has taught at the university since 2015, covering courses including French Political Life, Socio-history of Political Order, Major Political Controversies, and Inequality Studies across undergraduate and graduate levels. Since 2018, she directs the professional Master's program 'Political Expertise and Public Action' and previously co-headed both this program (2016-2018) and the Political Science degree (2015-2016).

Her research examines racism, anti-racism, and ethnoracial discrimination through comparative frameworks (France/Germany/South Africa), with specific focus on:

• Anti-discrimination law and policy implementation
• Class action lawsuits by marginalized groups
• State relations with unaccompanied migrant minors
• Ethnoracial categorization in public policy

She participates in collaborative projects including the ANR DisPow study on migrant rights (2018-2022) and justice systems for racist offenses (2016-2018).

Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on racial justice mechanisms, with recent works analyzing South African jurisprudence (2022) and affirmative action tensions (2018). Conference presentations include IPSA 2021 on migrant minors' rights.
