Sohyun Park is an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Connecticut. Her work bridges urban ecology, biodiversity conservation, and socio-ecological systems through research, teaching, and community engagement. She leads the Sustainable Urban Planning and Ecology Research (SUPER) Lab and holds a Sustainable SITES Accreditation (SITES-AP-0000001945).

Her research focuses on:
- Biodiversity-Positive Design
- Urban Rewilding
- Measuring landscape performance in marsh ecosystems
- Land banking and community resilience
Recent projects include landscape architecture solutions to biodiversity loss and the Ecolog-L.I. Sound: UConn Avery Point Master Plan, which received the EPA Campus RainWorks Challenge award. She has held leadership roles in the Council of Educators of Landscape Architecture (CELA) and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).
