Sofia Sanchez Mompean

Dr. Sofia Sanchez Mompean is an Associate Professor in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Murcia. She completed her PhD in 2017, investigating intonation rendition in Spanish dubbing of English-language content.

Her research explores audiovisual translation, dubbing practices, prosodic features in cross-lingual transfer, and cognitive aspects of translation. She contributes to the Translation, Didactics, and Cognition research group.
