Sofia Marcolini

Sofia Marcolini is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Groningen. Her work focuses on neuropsychology, clinical neurosciences, and neuroimaging, with a particular emphasis on dementia, aging risk factors, and cerebrovascular imaging. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience (2025) and has contributed to multidisciplinary studies on cognitive aging mechanisms, neuroimaging biomarkers, and mental health outcomes following traumatic events.
