Sofia Gotti

Dr. Sofia Gotti is a Lecturer in Curating at the Courtauld Institute of Art (University of London) and an Associated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, where she holds a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. Her research focuses on feminist art practices in Latin America and Italy, with a particular emphasis on Pop Art, Mail Art, and decoloniality.

Her work explores intersections of art and politics during Brazil's military dictatorship, analyzing radical experimentation in avant-garde circles. She has curated exhibitions for institutions like the Guggenheim Foundation and Castello di Rivoli, and her publications examine feminist artists' archives and the cultural milieus of the 1960s-70s.
