Sofia Åkerman is a Lecturer and Doctoral student at the Department of Law at Lund University. She holds research positions in Health Law, the Norma Research Programme, Public Law, and Law and Vulnerabilities. Her doctoral research (since 2019), supervised by Titti Mattsson and Sverker Jönsson, examines accountability distribution in medical malpractice between individual practitioners and systemic factors, supported by the Craaford Foundation. She teaches Health Law and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to public health and legal frameworks.
