So Yeon Kim, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Medical Oncology) at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in thoracic malignancies, with a focus on targeted therapies and immunotherapy for lung cancer. Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and underwent residency at Tufts Medical Center and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Her research includes identifying therapeutic targets for NSCLC and improving personalized treatment approaches based on molecular fingerprints. She is affiliated with the Center for Thoracic Cancers and Yale Cancer Center.
