Slaveyko Gospodinov

Prof. Slaveyko Gospodinov serves as a Professor in the Department of Higher Geodesy at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), where he has been enrolled since 1990. His office is located in Cabinet P208 with reception hours every Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00.

His academic qualifications include:

• Engineer in Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography (1986, VIAS - Sofia)
• Doctor of Geodesy (1990, VIAS - Sofia)

Prof. Gospodinov's research spans Geodesy and its specialized applications, with emphasis on Geodetic Astronomy, Gravimetry, and Geodynamics. His teaching portfolio directly reflects these interests through courses such as Geodetic astronomy, Theory of the Earth's shape and gravimetry, Geodetic methods in geodynamics, and Gravimetric applications in geology and geophysics. He maintains professional fluency in Russian, English, and German.

He holds active membership in key industry bodies including the Union of Surveyors and Land Planners in Bulgaria, Association of Geodetic Companies, Chamber of Investment Design Engineers, and Chamber of Geodetic Engineers, and serves on the Council of the UMO under the Russian Ministry of Education.
