Siyang Yuan

Dr. Siyang Yuan is a Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) at the University of Dundee's School of Dentistry with significant international engagements. She maintains honorary professorship at Nanjing Medical University (2018-2023) and serves as their External Examiner (2021-2026). As founding chair of EACH's Special Interest Group in Communication Research in Oral Healthcare, she leads initiatives to improve clinician-patient communication globally.

Her research examines:

• Communication strategies for reducing dental anxiety
• Oral health disparities among socially excluded populations
• Behavioral interventions for vulnerable groups
• Technology-enhanced dental education
