Siri Silvereke is a postdoctoral researcher and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, affiliated with iCourts and the Study Hub for International Economic Law and Development (SHIELD). She contributes to the DFF project ENERGIZE, examining international investment law transformations for the green transition, led by Prof. Joanna Lam.
- Doctoral degree in EU Law and International Investment Agreements from University of Luxembourg
- Master of Laws in European Business Law from Lund University
- Studied at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) and Örebro University
Her research focuses on the intersection of environmental protection, international investment law, EU legal autonomy, and sustainable development in trade agreements. Recent work explores energy sector governance, ISDS reform, and the harmonization of economic and environmental policies.
Publications and Activities: Her recent research outputs (2023-2025) address green transitions in EU trade frameworks, UNCITRAL’s ISDS reforms, and compliance mechanisms in sustainability chapters. She has participated in conferences, seminars, and workshops on international investment law and environmental governance, including roles as a speaker and discussant.
Teaching and Leadership: As Senior Lecturer at Lund University, she taught EU law, competition law, and international trade law at both undergraduate and graduate levels, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to legal challenges in sustainability and economic policy.
