Professor Siri Forsmo is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). With an MD from University of Trondheim, MPH from University of Tromsø, and PhD from NTNU, her research focuses on epidemiological approaches to public health challenges. Primary research domains include effects of screening programs, osteoporosis/fracture risk, cancer epidemiology, and lifestyle interventions.
Her work utilizes mixed-method approaches combining quantitative epidemiology with qualitative analysis. Recent publications examine geographic healthcare disparities, pharmacological impacts on bone health, and psychosocial aspects of cancer screening.
