Siri Chongchitnan is Reader in Mathematics at the University of Warwick, specializing in cosmology and extreme-value statistics. His research investigates primordial black holes, high-redshift galaxies, and cosmological inflation using statistical methods. He directs undergraduate studies and leads the ThaiPASS outreach initiative bringing astronomy education to Thai schools.
Chongchitnan's cosmological work applies extreme-value theory to identify rare astrophysical objects in JWST data and CMB measurements. Educational innovations include developing Python-based teaching resources and authoring Exploring University Mathematics with Python. He received Warwick's Teaching Excellence Award in 2021 and leads international STEM outreach programs funded by STFC and British Council.
