Prof Siobhan Glavey holds the RCSI Chair and Professor of Pathology position, with dual affiliation at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and Beaumont Hospital. She serves as a Consultant Haematologist and Principal Investigator, leading clinical and translational research in multiple myeloma and precision medicine.

Her research focuses on genomic profiling of multiple myeloma, particularly chromosome 1 abnormalities and SKY-92 high-risk subtypes. She investigates spatial immune cell relationships in bone marrow using AI algorithms, and develops novel therapeutic strategies including 5-azacytidine/venetoclax combinations and adoptive immunotherapy approaches.
